Introduction
Jersey City, located across the Hudson River from Manhattan,

History
In 1623, the territory that would later become Jersey City
was established by the Dutch West India Company as a Dutch Colony. Although
it’s had periods of corruption, it has also experienced a renaissance as a
major industrial and immigration hub.
